Summer Camps

The French Kindergarten Camp is offered to children going to JK and SK in September 2019 from French schools or English schools. Children must be a minimum of 4 years old during the camp week to be accepted into this program.

Our camp will be a French Immersion adventure for your inquisitive little ones! They will have an exciting time doing various French activities to stimulate their growing minds. Our fun-filled days include lots of French singing, early handwriting, greetings, conversational activities, arts, crafts, field trips, splash pads and much more! Our students will have a fantastic time with our enthusiastic and passionate Francophone staff, who will ensure that all campers are in a safe, and enjoyable environment.

We keep our camps small (ratio of 1 – 5), so we can give lots of personal attention to each of our students.

Morning Sessions

Our morning routines follow a very structured program that includes a daily circle session, reading activities, learning songs and early handwriting activities. We will introduce your little ones to the basic French language by reviewing fundamental themes (color, numbers, body parts, seasons, etc.), with lots of repetition to ensure it stays in their minds.

Quality study hands-on materials and worksheets are provided. We take the time to repeat with them so that what they learn, will stay in their long-term memories!

Afternoon Sessions

In the afternoons, our students will be involved in outdoor activities, like play sports and romp around in the splash pads with their friends to keep their bodies healthy. Additionally, they will participate in arts and crafts to expand their creative minds. We will also take our students on field trips to explore the outside world!

Our camps always reach their maximum capacity! Register early!

This academic camp is offered to students going into grades 4 – 7 (starting in Sept 2019) Core French, Extended French or enrolled in an English mainstream school.

We effectively teach French through a variety of activities, such as reading, writing, reviewing grammar rules and common verbs. Our goal is to build a strong French foundation for our students, so they can have a great start to their new school year. Even though we will be teaching academic content, at My French Club we always make sure that all our programs are stimulating and fun for all our students!

During camp hours, teachers and students communicate only in French. This high level of the French language exposure will definitely improve students’ French communication and will build their confidence. We also provide students with top quality study materials and worksheets. We keep a small ratio of 1 mentor to 5 students.

Students enrolled in the full day program will participate in the afternoon outdoor activities, like sports and weekly splash pad play. Additionally, they will also do fun arts, crafts and go on an exciting field trip.

The academic portion is 3 hours in duration and is offered 5 mornings a week.

You can register for as many weeks as you wish!

75% of our students register for a minimum of 3 weeks.

80% of our campers come back, after attending the previous year.

There is a NEW program every week to keep our students interested and excited!

The July camps are offered to all elementary students going into grades 1 – 6 (starting in Sept 2019) enrolled in French Immersion or French school.

As always, we keep our camps small (ratio of 1 to 5), so we can give lots of personal attention to each of our students. We also take the time to study with them to ensure that they truly understand what is being taught to them.

Even though we teach academic content at My French Club, we always make sure that all of our programs are engaging and fun for our students!

Morning Routine

The morning program is structured by following a daily coaching session, reading activities, written expressions, grammar and reviewing verbs. Lively songs and proper French lessons will be used to help reinforce fundamental concepts and improve students’ vocabulary.

Younger students will be introduced to the French language by reviewing fundamental themes with the use of constant repetition. We found that this method is most effective in teaching students French.

We provide quality study materials and worksheets to help our students improve their abilities, but also keep them engaged!

Afternoon Routine

Students will be involved in fun outdoor activities to keep their bodies healthy. We also make time for cool arts, crafts, French movies and of course visit the splash pads. Not only are these activities fun for children, but it also enhances their social skills, build confidence and gives them a chance to practice their French conversational skills!

This Back-to-School Camp is offered to Francophone students and French Immersion students going into grades 1 – 6 in September 2019. The grade 1 section of this camp would also be appropriate for students going into an English grade 1 class.

This camp is offered as a half or full day during the entire August month, as an effective preparation for school and runs from Mondays to Fridays.

As always, we keep our camps small (ratio of 1 to 5), so we can give lots of personal attention to each of our students. We also take the time to study with them to ensure that they truly understand what is being taught to them.

We will introduce the younger students to the French language by reviewing fundamental themes, with lots of repetition to support their learning. Singing songs, reading books, proper pronunciation, printing rules and crafts will be used to help reinforce concepts and retain language they learned.
