Story Telling (grade 1 to grade 4)

In this class, children, from grade 1 to grade 4 French immersion, will have the chance to read, listen or watch a wide variety of material and retell the story in their own words.

Our mentors will also tell stories so listeners become engaged and therefore remember more effectively.

We will use a variety of forms (folktales, legends, narrative, biography, etc) and various texts, images, videos and presentations to get your children to express and retell the stories. Even if we occasionally have a writing portion, this class is mainly focused on developing oral and presentation skills.

Story telling is a great educational tool that truly engages children and helps them develop their oral confidence.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR SPRING SESSION (April 12th to June 28th 2014). Please register online or call 647-847-6585 to process payments.
