The Learning Out Loud (LoL) workshop is designed for Francophone, French immersion students from Grade 2 to 6 and for students enrolled in the Extended French program. It is composed of an intensive reading program which helps students become more confident in their ability to read and understand stories. Activities such as creative writing, reading comprehension, spelling, conversational time and learning French songs/poems will give students great school advantage. Music, videos or art are used in most of our programs. Why? Because it is indeed easier to remember something to a tune and recall the vocabulary or the structure than if you just read it or heard it spoken! We will use multimedia and new technologies, powerful learning tools, to keep the kids engaged.
