In this class, children, from grade 1 to grade 4 French immersion, will have the chance to express themselves on a wide variety of material. They will have the chance to retell stories in their own words. We will use a variety of forms (legends, narrative, biography, etc) and various texts, images, videos and presentations to get your children to express and retell the stories. Even if we occasionally have a writing portion, this class is mainly focused on developing oral and presentation skills.

Storytelling is a truly a great educational tool that engages children and helps them develop their oral confidence. Our mentors will also tell stories so listeners become engaged and therefore remember more effectively.

We recommend combining this program with another program such as the “LOL 🙂 Learning Out Loud”, “Singathon Movathon” or “Homework Club” in order to have more exposure to French.

New lesson plan for every session. Children are grouped by French level. We use multimedia, a powerful learning tool, to keep students engaged.

Price: $20 for 1h. Prices are prorated to the number of classes left per session. Save 5% if you register for the full year and pay by postdated cheque before the end of October.
